Description of SQL Script:

This script will help in deleting database through query planning, Added advantage : Even if any thread is running for this Database it will ignore all running threads and Delete Given Database

Input Parameter of SQL Script

1.Database Name (@DBNAME)

SQL Script Code

GO

DECLARE @DBNAME VARCHAR(50)

SET @DBNAME = 'DeleteTry'

DECLARE @HoldSql VARCHAR(500)

EXEC msdb.dbo.sp_delete_database_backuphistory @database_name = 
    @DBNAME

SET @HoldSql = 'ALTER DATABASE [' + @DBNAME + 
    '] SET  SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE'

EXECUTE (@HoldSql)

SET @HoldSql = 'DROP DATABASE [' + @DBNAME + ']'

EXECUTE (@HoldSql)

User Level to execute
